I've been neglecting other works in process that really need my attention to task because of my obsession with my leaves and my need to preserve the amazing array of colors for future reference.
I'm trying to teach myself watercolors and I've learned so far that I need to work on my patience. Mixing colors to achieve the exact hue I want is also very very different from what I'm used to (acrylics). Sadly my leaf collecting obsession is winding down since most of the leaves are brown now. I will miss the brilliant almost neon reds, golds, burgundies and lime greens.
